April 14, 2009 – Stanley Levin, longtime Pensacola attorney, and former co-manager of boxer Roy Jones Jr., died at his home Friday. He was 70. “Stanley was, of the six Levin boys, probably the kindest of the group,” said his brother, Fred Levin, on Friday evening. Mr. Levin received a law degree from the University of Florida in 1963 and specialized in estate planning, probates and sports law at the law firm Levin Papantonio Thomas Mitchell Echsner & Proctor, P.A. in Pensacola. He retired from the firm about two years ago because of health problems. “He was a kind, compassionate, wise man,” said Mark Proctor, Levin’s partner at the firm. “I was honored to call him my partner and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.”
