Congratulations to Harold Lederman and George Kimball who were honored at the 84th annual BWAA Awards Dinner on June 12 at The Capitale in New York City.


Harold received the Sam Taub Award for “Excellence in Broadcast Journalism.” Harold had previously received the organization’s Marvin Kohn “Good Guy” award in 2005.


George Kimball was named one of the winners in the eighth annual Boxing Writers Association of America writing contest, known as the “Barneys” in memory of the late former president of the BWAA, Barney Nagler. George took home a third-place award in the Boxing News Story category for a piece on “”
