Dan Cuoco grew up in Somerville, MA before moving to Tewksbury, MA in high school, and received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Northeastern University in Boston. He became involved in boxing through his father and uncles in the mid 1950s and has had a passion for the sport ever since. The history of boxing has been a lifetime hobby. Dan's interests are all eras, but particularly the 1940s – 1980s. He enjoys researching and writing articles about fighters that are often overlooked and giving them their due. Dan became a member of the International Boxing Research Organization (IBRO) in January 2000, after retiring from the private sector, where he was Director of Human Resources for a fortune 300 company. Once a member, he quickly got involved researching fight cards held in Lowell, MA and other surrounding towns in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Dan became director of the International Boxing Research Organization (IBRO) in June 2000.
