Don Cogswell

Author of 100+ boxing historical essays. Inducted into the Florida Boxing Hall of Fame (FBHOF) in 2014 as a historian.

Co-author of the highly regarded UnCrowned Champions. A follow-up volume is in progress.

Areas of expertise include boxing and the military, ethnicity, and race in boxing, and the socio/political role of boxing through the ages.

Currently the president of the International Boxing Research Organization, whose 150+ membership is worldwide.

Has spoken in a variety of forums on boxing, including as panelist at the History Museum of Miami’s 50th Anniversary of the Clay/Liston championship fight, as co-speaker in Tampa at the FBHOF Induction weekend on the Art and Science of the Undercard Fighter, as well as other engagements.
