New Jersey Boxing Hall of Fame – NJBHOF held its 53rd Annual Dinner and Induction Ceremonies at the Venetian in Garfield, New Jersey, on November 9, 2023. Fourteen (14) of Boxing’s finest were inducted: Frank Bartolini, Joe Botti, Freddie Cadena, Angel “Pin Pin” De Jesus, Anthony Fletcher, Frank Fletcher, Shaun George, Maurice Harris, Danny McDermott, Charlie McGill, Jolene Mizzone, Jerson Ravelo, Omar Sheika and Archak TerMeliksetian. Also, receiving honors were the Pro Boxer of the Year, Senior Amateur (Malachi Georges) & Junior Olympic Amateur (Tyjir Smith) Boxers, plus the Amateur Official (Jose Medina) & Coach of the Year (Percy Gayanilo). Zhilei Zhang was selected Pro Boxer of the Year! The hall also honored New Jersey’s Diamond Glove Open Class Champions.
